Before and After Installing Delta Steam Traps - Video

This video shows the coal boiler hotwell tank vent before and after installing Delta Venturi Steam Traps. When the plant was running on conventional mechanical steam traps (before), the amount of live steam leaking through the traps and out the hotwell tank into the atmosphere was very high and extremely expensive. Once all the steam traps on the plant had been replaced with Delta Venturi Steam Traps, (after), the live steam was eliminated and only flash steam was present which is normal for hotwell tanks that are just below boiling point.

The result was a happy client and a payback of less than a year making this a sound financial and environmental decision.
