Manual Micromanipulator - Mounting Microsensors on the Micromanipulator Video
This video shows how needle-type microsensors, or bare fiber microsensors are mounted on the Manual Micromanipulator. Learn how to use the safe-insert function specifically designed for PreSens NTHs.
The Manual Micromanipulator allows vibration-free insertion of fiber optic microsensors into semi-solid or hard samples with µm reading accuracy. This is the perfect tool for profiling and exact localization of a microsensor in the sample. With the safe-insert function the microsensor retracted in its steel needle can be securely inserted into your area of interest; then the sensor tip is gradually uncovered, without the risk of breaking the fiber.
