Recycled PET Flake Optical Sorting Video

The ALMO Mogensen MSort optical sorter is perfect for sorting of recycled PET flakes. In this video the PET flakes are first screener sorted into 2 different fractions for sorting in a 3 stage optical sorting scheme. Then the rejected color PET is sorted to recover the clear PET and remove the brown PET. The end result is less than 100 ppm (parts per million) of color left in the clear PET and high recovery of the clear PET.
