Aereon’s Ghost series enclosed flare is pictured here on a Coal Bed Methane operation in Somerset Colorado. Harmful Methane was being vented to the atmosphere from an abandoned coal mine. Aereon was tasked with the job of combusting the methane into cleaner byproducts to generate carbon credits, and therefore a revenue stream for our client. With the help of our expert engineering team and close engagement from the end user, Aereon used 4 of our AB-200 Ghost series enclosed flares to combust up to 9 MMSCFD of waste gas (70% Nitrogen, 30% Methane) to generate ~$6000/ day of carbon credits.
