Product Details
Sustainability was a key element in the design and construction of the building with the goal to achieve a 33 per cent reduction in carbon emissions and the total energy consumed to be less than half of a conventional similar building.
Fleetsolve designed and installed a 300kWe biofuel tri-generation CHP system. The system links to all of the heat and cooling requirements for the nine storey building providing the best utilisation of both heat and power. This efficient renewable energy is forecasted to provide an annual carbon reduction of over 1,500 tonnes.
The cost effective and efficient performance of the biofuel CHP has contributed to the £2.5millions worth of annual savings projected by the council.
