About Us
Experience
We are the leaders in bio-fuel CHP technology and have over a decade of proven experience in a range of sectors including schools, retail, hotels, distribution prisons and local authority. Our stakeholder approach and innovative solution has helped our clients to achieve many thousands of tonnes of carbon reduction and energy savings, qualifying them for government incentives.
With a proven track record of excellence we have the largest fleet of operational bio-fuel CHP’s in the UK.
Awards and Recognition
Our bio-fuel systems are recognised by the world’s leading assessor of sustainable buildings – BREEAM and have enabled a number of our clients to achieve the highest BREEAM accreditation of ‘Outstanding ‘
Bio-fuel Management
Together with our global partners we source low carbon, renewable liquid base stocks from a range of post manufacture waste and residues. As volume suppliers of a variety of bio-fuels for over ten years, we are able to offer both security of supply and fixed prices dependent upon the size and length of contract.
Our experienced fuel team manage thousands of tonnes of bio fuel year for use in our CHP and boiler units. Every consignment of fuel is delivered to site with the necessary certification to meet the requirements for Ofgems’ Renewable Obligation Certificate (ROCs). The logistics of your fuelling requirement is fully managed from collection from our dockside storage facilities through to delivery and subsequent combustion in the CHP.
Operational Efficiency
Fleetsolve’s skilled team of engineers monitor the CHP’s units using advance control technology to achieve optimum energy efficiency and ensure continuous power generation. The system modulates with your buildings power requirements reducing operational costs and energy wastage.

History
Fleetsolve are a well-established privately owned company based on the Wirral. Our expertise is in engine development, CHP technology, bio fuels and fuel systems. Prior to the success in the power generation sector, Fleetsolve initially focussed on the commercial automotive sector, developing high performance bio fuelled engines for operation in a range of vehicles including buses, tractors transport trucks and motorsport
Fleetsolve’s bio fuelled technology and systems were selected for a number of pioneering projects:
In conjunction with New Holland, Fleetsolve developed the UK’s first bio diesel tractors for operation by our client The Eden Project who benefited from a carbon reduction of over 70%.
Fleetsolve designed a bio-fuel combustion system for clients Stagecoach. Working alongside the bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis, our engineers integrated Fleetsolve’s unique bio-fuel management system at production stage onto fifty new buses which operate in Cambridge.
Partnering with government department Energy Efficiency in Motorsports, Fleetsolve converted a standard diesel truck engine to bio-fuel and further developed the engine to reach unprecedented levels of performance for racing. This achieved a significant reduction of emissions and increased power output leading to race wins and podium positions for Jenkins Motorsport race team. This project became the first alternative fuelled vehicle to win at a major FIA sporting event.
With a successful history of high powered, low carbon engine solutions Fleetsolve scaled this knowledge and expertise to be utilised into power generation. Our long understanding of bio fuels together with our bio engine development experience led to the introduction of engines with a high heat to power ratio that really sets Fleetsolve apart from the competition. Combined with our innovative engineering designs and in house manufacturing techniques we really are the best in bio fuelled combined heat and power generation.
