About Us
On January 1, 2012, Acuity Power Group TM was formed to address two important needs within the renewable energy industry.
First, we recognized the growing need for highly experienced independent engineering services to provide Quality Assurance to solar developers, investors, sponsors and others with services in Design Review, Commissioning, O&M and M&V, helping our clients to minimize construction risk and ensure long-term performance from solar PV assets. While there are many engineering companies to choose from, Acuity Power Group is solely focused on the evolving renewable energy industry and has significant experience in solar PV systems. So, we assembled our highly skilled engineers and created Acuity Power Group’s Solar PV Consulting Services to serve this growing demand. Our services are offered for utility-scale and distributed solar PV projects, and for distributed wind power systems.
Second, we realized that with each passing once-in-a-hundred-year storm and the increasing frequency of extended power outages from an aging utility infrastructure, there is growing awareness of the effects of climate change and utility grid vulnerability to both natural and man-made disasters. More and more, people and industry understand the importance of carbon reduction and the critical value of energy resilience and security. But they require complete and comprehensive solutions, not individual services or one specific green technology.
With our significant experience in grid-tied and battery-based renewable energy systems, our expertise in new energy storage technologies, and our focus on emerging technologies in DC power and efficiency systems, we offer our Microgrid Consulting Services for clients who require solutions for energy resilience, and zero-net energy goals.
