Adon was founded in 1979 and started commercial solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services in 2007. The firm pivoted to direct current (DC) technology and microgrid development and financing in 2015. Adon is now a leading DC technology disruptor with SunChillers solar heat pumps, PowerBox environment friendly ferrous metal based advanced batteries and evPowerBox bi-directional mobile EV charging technology. Adon’s history can be traced back to 1979 when the founder started Adon Construction. The Company has been a successful general construction firm which pivoted to solar engineering and procurement in 2007. The company completed many commercial solar facilities in the state of Hawaii. In 2015, Adon focused on direct current (DC) technology development, microgrid development and financing. In its new pursuit, the firm has launched advanced batteries (PowerBox), hybrid solar heat pumps (SunChillers) and bi-directional mobile battery system (evPowerBox).
