AITESA - Waste Heat Recovery Boilers / Heat Recovery Steam Generators and HTF Recovery Boilers

Allow steam generation (saturated or superheated) and superheated water from flue of furnaces, gas turbines, waste liquid incinerators (HCL, H2SO4) or waste gas incinerators (Off-gas, biogas, SH2…), fuel-oil engines (2 stroke or 4 stroke), gas engines in cogeneration plants.

AITESA - Fired Heaters / Furnaces

This equipment allows heat transfer between the process fluid that flows through the tubes and the gases that come from the combustion of the fuel (gas or liquid). In the radiant section, the heat is transferred to the process fluid, mainly by radiation from the high temperature of the combustion gases, while in the convection section heat is transferred to the process fluid, mainly by convection.

AITESA - Heat Recovery / Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS)

Recover waste heat from the WHRB exhaust gas steam and Fired Heaters. The three heat transfer mechanisms are: conduction, convection and radiation. Recover residual heat from a hot current with a high content of potential energy and putting that energy into use increases the total efficiency of the process. Using this improvement, energy consumption in plants can decrease with consequential reduction in operational costs and emissions into the atmosphere. Aitesa can optimise the RANKINE cycle and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) of your processes. It can also advise on the purchase of engines and turbines in order to optimise your investment in the plant. This is especially important for cogeneration, biomass (such as sugar mills), paper, textile industry, and food plants.

AITESA - Air Coolers / Air Condensers / Air Cooled Heat Exchangers

Allow condensation and/or cooling of the process gas or liquid by means of exchanging heat for air blown by fans. We design optimized processes according to available space, location, metal frame or even in a truck. The design is adapted to customer specifications according to the reference codes API 560, ASME VIII Div.1, TEMA-R. We work mainly for Refineries and Chemical Industries, adapting to their need of cooling or condensation for hydrocarbons, water/steam and oil. We offer spare parts such as tube bundles in order to update its design to current codes and new specifications. Previous to any change, we check the existing fans.

AITESA - Heat Exchangers (Flue Gas -Water and Flue Gas -HTF)

Allow to heat feed water or HTF (oil, molten salt…), generate steam or superheat steam in order to use the heat in the process plant or generate power with a steam turbine. These equipments are assembled in fire-tube boilers, engines, turbines… The design of the equipment is made with different types of tubes depending on flue gas quality. The main types of tubes used are: high frequency welded tubes, cast finned tubes for corrosive services, Aluminum finned tubes, twin pipe rectangular finned tubes, solid finned tubes and plain tubes. Tubes, fins and equipment are manufactured according to fluid and temperature achieved using carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel or hastelloy. All our equipments have the high pressure fluid on the tube side, which allows a compact design.

AITESA - Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers

Two different pressure chambers such as shell side and tube side. Two different fluids run through each chamber without mix. If there is a temperature difference between them, it is possible exchange heat without mixing the fluids.

AITESA - Air Preheaters (APH)

The design of these equipments allows heating the air from combustion gases of furnaces or engines when near the acid dewpoint temperature, with a corrosion risk for condensation (flue gas outlet temperature between 250 and 130 °C).

AITESA - Recuperators - Heat Exchangers

Enable reheating of combustion air with very hot outlet gases of metallurgy furnaces, glass melting furnaces, waste incinerators and hydrogen furnaces.

AITESA - Condensing Economizers

This equipment is an economiser that heats water or a thermal fluid that enters at a low temperature (below 65°C). This makes the water contained in the gases condense and it adheres to the wall of the tube. In order to prevent corrosion, the equipment must be made of stainless steel.
