AITESA - Fired Heaters / Furnaces
This equipment allows heat transfer between the process fluid that flows through the tubes and the gases that come from the combustion of the fuel (gas or liquid). In the radiant section, the heat is transferred to the process fluid, mainly by radiation from the high temperature of the combustion gases, while in the convection section heat is transferred to the process fluid, mainly by convection.
The most common applications for fired heaters are:
Types of fired heaters:
- Cabin fired heaters
- Double-cabin fired heaters
- Vertical cylindrical fired heaters
- Multipass fired heaters
Applications:
- Crude fired heaters
- Reboiler fired heaters
- Platforming fired heaters
- Vacuum fired heaters
- Hot oil fired heaters
- Fired heaters with heat recovery
Aitesa mainly works with Refineries and Chemical Industries, creating an optimised and efficient design for each process taking into account the requirements of the client and always complying with API 530 and API 560 reference codes.
Likewise, we also revamp existing facilities, extending and modifying the convective area, changing existing burners to low NOx burners, etc., in combination with the implementation of air preheaters to improve energy efficiency of the equipment and reduce its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
