Altris has developed a new way of producing a sodium-ion cathode material – both much more efficiently and using only renewable materials. Together with the advantages of Sodium-ion technology, an inherently lower energy density can be more than compensated for. Founded in 2017 based on research performed at the Uppsala University Ångström Laboratory, Altris offers highly sustainable battery technology to enable a renewable future. Altris also designs, produces, and licenses cells, electrolyte and production processes for customer specific needs.
