AMETEK Solidstate Controls was established in 1962 with the purpose of providing continuity of power to businesses. This was accomplished with UPS (uninterruptible power supplies(, industrial batteries, power conditioners, and much more. While our products have advanced with the movement of times, our focus has not. We now have products in more than 50,000 systems around the world. 2018 celebrates AMETEK Solidstate Controls` 56th year of building the world`s most robust and reliable industrial Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Inverters and Battery Chargers. AMETEK Solidstate Controls (SCI) was established with the idea of providing clean, reliable power to businesses. While our products and technologies have advanced over the years, our original purpose remains the same as in 1962 .
