The AMK Collectra AG
... is the leading specialist for vacuum tube collectors and concentrates in investigation, development and production. AMK Collectra AG produces OEM collectors for many international companies. As a speciality we offer the development of collectors according to customers needs. The plant is located in Buchs(Switzerland).
The AMK Energie Technik AG
... is a center of competence in the planning of building technology. From small home to industrial projects, the AMK Energie Technik plans the full building technology. A speciality is the integration of renewable energy into existing solutions. AMK Energie Technik plans and leads projects internationally and is well known for innovative solutions.
History
The beginning was at the international exhibition of inventors in Geneva in 1987. There Mr. Kurt Amrein has been awarded with gold for his development of the vacuum absorber tube.
Milestones
- 1987 development of the SLL collectors
- 1988 Founding the AMK Energietechnik AG in Schaan/FL. This company concentrates on planning big projects all around Europe
- 1996 Founding the AMK-SOLAC Systems AG in Buchs (SG). Start of the production of SLU collectors, witch have been specially developed for the European market.
- 2001 Start of the OPC series. This serie has been constantly improved in the following years and nowadays is one of the most powerfull collectors worldwide.
- 2003 Founding the AMK Collectra AG. The high demand of OEM collectors lead to the founding of a company for this customer segment. In the following the AMK-SOLAC Systems AG focussed on the distribution of the own brand.
- 2004 Special collector DRC 10 enlarges the product portfolio. This collector has been designed to use diffuse light as well. The first tank collector OTC 150 came the same year.
- 2005 New production site in Sevelen with a capacity of 30000 collectors per year. The same year the OPC15 EU21 comes out as the first hybrid vacuumcollector. Awarded the Gold Medal at the International Industrial Trade Fair in Poznan, Poland
- 2006 Founding the AMK Asia Ltd.
- 2007 Enlargement of the OWR 12 collectors
- 2008 Enlargment of our products with ECO and LBC collectors for secondary market and for industrialist applications
- 2009 Planning of a production and administration building (Constructed approximately 27,500 m3 cubic)
- 2011 Moving in the new building in Buchs (SG), Switzerland and enlargement of the OWR collectors: OWR 8, OWR 18 and OWR 20.
