Fully cognisant of the erstwhile lack of power quality in the U.K., Ashley Edison Global made the strategic call to pivot into voltage control solutions. By outfitting manual variable transformers with servo motors, we found an ideal solution to the power challenges faced by both industrial and residential sectors.

1990s

Rising Demand and Rapid Innovation

Ashley Edison Global experienced soaring demand from both businesses and government in the UK and EU. Driven by our core vision to create tomorrow’s electrical products, today, we constantly improve on our product design with the addition of more protection features. Furthermore, by harnessing the power of servos—considered to be cutting-edge technology at the time—we rose to become a market leader in automated power protection, establishing ourselves as the default go-to solution for voltage protection.

2001

Pivot to East Asia

To meet skyrocketing demands for our products overseas, especially in the East Asian market, we swiftly expanded eastwards, establishing our machinery manufacturing hub in Taiwan—famed since the mid-20th century as one of the Four Asian Tigers for its economic success, spirit of innovation, and manufacturing expertise.

2006

Birth of a New Chapter

Having secured a strong presence in Greater China, we turned our attention southwards. Drawn to Singapore for its world-renowned efficiency, reliability, and impeccable reputation as an international financial center, we established our Asia-Pacific headquarters in the Southeast Asian city-state—the first outside of the UK—to better serve our numerous clients in this rapidly flourishing region.
