Since the early 70’s, ATB has been among the most important international players in the design and construction of sophisticated nuclear components. Due to the recognized capabilities for welding and machining pressure vessels, ATB has been qualified by some of the most important Nuclear Engineering Companies (Westinghouse, Framatome, GE) for the manufacturing of critical components of the Nuclear Island. Such components, from the Reactor Vessel to the Pressurizer, are part of Nuclear Plants or Nuclear Research Centers in Europe and in the USA. During the last few years, ATB has focused its commercial and industrial efforts on a market sector that has grown steadily: containers for the transportation and storage of High Level Radioactive Materials (HLRM).

Since the early 20th century, ATB Riva Calzoni started to develop its knowhow in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of Gates, covering all types and sizes. Furthermore, the company promoted the more valuable hydraulic control systems for large radial gates as an alternative to traditional electromechanical hoists.

A variable pitch controlled wind turbine with a 54 m rotor. Since installation of the first prototype in 1997, wind turbines with total capacity of over 20 MW have been installed with successful operation in Germany, Austria and Canada. The turbine is available in 50 m or 73 m hub heights. The towers are manufactured using the highest quality steel with a durable C5 protective outer coating to ensure a minimum lifespan of 20 years even in the severest operating conditions.

The ATB 60.28 DD is an upwind, two-bladed wind turbine with 60 kW rated power at grid side. The turbine with its 28 m rotor diameter will is designed for wind class IIIA with 37m hub height in accordance with the Germanischer Lloyd’s Guideline for the Certification of Wind Turbines, Edition 2010.

The Hydro Energia own hydroelectric Turbines technology is based on 25 years long experience in design and production of the main type of turbines such as: Kaplan, Francis and Pelton from 100 kW up to 40 MW, each ones with various setting according to the needs of our Costumers. In the last years almost 200 hydro units have been engineered, manufactured, assembled, delivered and commissioned by our team, for more than 340 MW of installed power and a capability of energy yield of more than 1.000 GWh. The design of each turbines is performed in order to get the best performance according to the hydraulic site condition.
