Automation Displays, Inc. (ADi) was established in 1971 by engineers transitioning from a control OEM in Minneapolis to focus on graphic control panel manufacturing. Enhancing its presence, ADi initially catered to the Process Control and Mass Transit sectors. Fourteen years later, Richard Carroll, alongside three ADi colleagues, acquired the company. Under their leadership, the business expanded into building automation, detention, and the oil sectors. In 2019, Brenden Carroll took full ownership. ADi distinguishes itself by supplying system integrators and installers specializing in building automation, detention and access control, fire signaling, oil and gas, and industrial controls. Their expertise also extends to mechanical and electrical engineering, prominently designing electrical enclosures and developing embedded systems firmware to liaise with varied industrial protocols. ADi's outstanding reputation is rooted in its enduring partnerships with OEMs and systems integrators.
