Pressostatic Gasometer

The pressostatic gasometer is the result of the experience and expertise of Biogas Engineering, which always offers innovative solutions. The pressostatic gasometer has a cylindrical shape and, in the biogas / bioethane plant it is the connecting element between the digester and the generator. The constant pressure, which you want to create and maintain inside the pressostatic gasometer, is between 1500 and 3000 Pa (15 – 30 mbar) and originates from the air pressure between the main body and the tank.

Model FB Ultra - Biogas Filter

The biogas generated in anaerobic digesters and landfills is saturated with water and contains small solid particles in suspension, elemental sulphur dust and other contaminants, therefore efficient filtration is necessary before using it. Failure to remove these impurities may actually cause devices and processes downstream of the filter to malfunction, increasing maintenance costs and downtime. Our FB Ultra filter has been designed by our team to ensure high efficiency in the removal of pollutants and particulates. This is possible thanks to the housing in series of three different filter elements, each with its own specific function.

Skid Biogas Treatment

Skid Biogas Treatment Systems

The “BIOGAS TREATMENT” series has three main functions: Purification of biogas from coarse impurities, elementary particles of sulfur and ammonia, this step takes place through our filter. Dehumidification via the refrigeration unit and tube bundle heat exchanger, with a condensate collection system. Biogas pumping via blower feedback control from the required pressure leaving the skid.

Model Heating Series - Skid Biogas Treatment System

The “HEATING” series skid has three main parts: The external water circuit that allows extraction of water at a high temperature from boilers or heat recovery of co-generators and conveyance to the hydraulic separator. The internal water circuit that extracts water from the hydraulic separator and conveys it to the water-sludge heat exchanger. The process material circuit that extracts material from the digester and conveys it to the water-sludge heat exchanger for heating.

Model Combi Series - Skid Biogas Treatment System

The “COMBI” series skid incorporates both the “biogas treatment” and the process “heating” technologies. In a unique and compact solution we can satisfy the demand for both the pumping and treatment of the crude Biogas output from your digester and the process heating, with machinery designed and selected for the maximum efficiency of your system.  On request, the Combi series can also be set up for heating utilities external to the biogas / biomethane system, thanks to the installation of a manifold with two or more outlets, and the control panel can also be supplied in this case and command.

Biogas Plants

Waste Biogas Plant

With the term “waste”, we think of something related to the problem of disposal, as nowadays it is increasingly difficult to find spaces where to store the enormous quantity of solid urban waste. Hence the need to transform this problem into a resource by producing renewable energy. The organic fraction of urban solid waste, slaughterhouse waste, expired food and everything related to nutrition (milk, fish, sweets, etc.), are extremely effective organic matrices for anaerobic digestion. Mainly these categories of waste were treated in composting plants, today the optimal solution to arrive at a circular economy model is the construction of a biogas / biomethane plant.

Technology

Biogas Storage

In biogas plants, the gas generated during anaerobic fermentation is stored inside variable volume membranes which have the function of storing the biogas itself in order to stabilize the flow to the cogenerator in the event of a change in production. Biogas Engineering has developed an innovative solution for the storage of biogas, which consists in the installation of low pressure cylindrical pressostatic accumulators (gasometers). These gasometers can be installed on the digester slab or on the ground according to the customer’s needs.
