Founded in 1987, Biothermica is an integrated company focused on three main lines of business: Carbon and Energy Project Development, Landfill gas services, and Air Pollution Control solutions. Biothermica has completed transactions amounting to more than $US 100 million in turn-key projects in the fields of air pollution control and landfill gas recovery, more than $US 45 million as an equity sponsor with regard to landfill gas collection and power generation systems in Canada and in Central America, as well as more than $US 50 million in carbon credit transactions in both the regulated (Kyoto) and voluntary carbon markets.
