Biovakka is the leader of many development projects that aim to exploit biogas energy. It only chooses the best actors of the field as its partners in cooperation. The aim is to operate in favour of the environment and promote responsible business operations.

Biovakka sold 4,000 MWh of green energy to the national distributor. This corresponds to over 340,000 litres of heating oil. In the future, Biovakka\`s financial result will mainly consist of the sales of energy and recycled nutrients. This way, environmental care operations turn into energy business. In addition to selling energy, Biovakka is self-sufficient in the production of the electricity and heat required by its operations.
