Heat & Electricity Production

Biovakka sold 4,000 MWh of green energy to the national distributor. This corresponds to over 340,000 litres of heating oil. In the future, Biovakka\`s financial result will mainly consist of the sales of energy and recycled nutrients. This way, environmental care operations turn into energy business. In addition to selling energy, Biovakka is self-sufficient in the production of the electricity and heat required by its operations.
