Unlike conventional diesel-fueled drills, Grabowski operates on electricity, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and diesel consumption. It can be plugged into a standard electricity outlet, thus eliminating the need for diesel compressors and other heavy equipment. The robot operates independently, navigating and steering itself during the drilling process, which it performs with minimal noise and disruption. Borobotics aims to increase the adoption of geothermal energy, which despite its potential, is currently used by only 1% of Swiss households.
