The Burkhardt company has been successfully run by a family for several generations. The village smithy in Mühlhausen, located in Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, was first mentioned in 1879 and has developed and grown continually to become a company with five sites engaging in national and international business. This successful combination of tradition and innovation has proved itself in practice. In addition to the continuous expansion of our building technology sector, we have been strongly focusing on renewable sources of energy such as solar technology, geothermics and biomass since 2005. By constantly improving efficiency, we rely on the best possible use of these primary energy sources to be able to tap into all energy potentials that arise from them.
