Pad Mount Equipment Cabinets (CUBE PM Series) are designed specifically to protect high density installations of network equipment in outdoor environments and are ideal for wireless, wireline, and utility applications. Pad Mount Equipment  Cabinets are ideally suited for Macro Cell Site and Centralized Radio Access Network (CRAN) applications.  With the strong push to roll out LTE, 5G, C band and/or edge servers, large numbers of new macro cells are being built. Cell site equipment has gotten smaller and more efficient over the years, and movement towards CRAN architecture further reduces the footprint. Charles has developed a line of solutions to assist these deployments with rugged and compact enclosures for today’s dynamic cell site needs. Various thermal options are available to ensure your equipment is protected and your site is reliable, including heat exchangers and air conditioners.

The Charles CUBE ID Series cabinets are ideally suited for housing wireless network equipment in indoor settings. ID?Series cabinets feature power, equipment and optional battery compartments. They are direct air cooled solutions with optional fan kits available. The cabinets are available in 45RU, 36RU, or 24RU sizes with front and rear mounting space for 19” or 23” rack mount equipment. Cabinets support various DAS, Small Cell, or Wi-Fi electronics. Optional slanted vented shelves and slide-out laptop tray kits are available for mounting DAS and other communications equipment. Optional integrated battery chambers are available.

Charles Indoor Battery Racks (CIBR-M) are modular, seismic Zone 4 rated (GR-487 certified) battery rack systems designed to fit the footprint of Saft Tel.X Ni-Cd batteries. In addition to several standard configurations, there are also single tray options that can be built on site. This flexible, modular design allows for installation in areas where it would not be practical or even possible to use a full-size, one-piece rack; such as rooftops, COWs/COLTs, small shelters, or other sites with limited access. It also gives the installer the flexibility to size the system for their particular needs, and have the ability to grow-as-you-go if necessary. The available equipment rack space above the battery trays will accommodate a power system. There are standard configurations that can be ordered with and without a power system installed.

Pedlock CPLS Series Pedestals provide the flexibility, durability and reliability to be the all-purpose copper splice closure for telecom service providers. The CPLS Series was designed to provide a variety of full feature, non-metallic pedestals with the lowest total cost of ownership. CPLS Series pedestals are available in 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 14” diameter sizes. They feature a common dome height across all sizes, allowing technicians to standardize the length of exposed cable loops and cable ends during cable placement. CPLS Series, like all Charles Pedlock Buried Distribution Pedestals, feature a non-metallic base and one-piece locking dome that create a patented “bell-jar effect” for flood-proof protection of inner cabling. CPLS Pedestals are an excellent choice for flood prone areas and have proven themselves in the field for more than 30 years.

“T” bracket non-metallic buried copper distribution pedestals for small copper pair-counts. Pedlock® CPLT Series Pedestals provide the flexibility, durability and reliability to be a cost-effiecient enclosure for small pair-count terminations and splices. A specially-designed “T” Bracket accommodates terminal blocks of up to 25 pair counts, Charles Kwik-Kase and Ready Access Load Coil Cases, or Charles Smart Coil Kwik Kases.
