CKD Blansko products

Since 1904 CKD Blansko has manufactured more than 249 Francis turbines and they operate at 89 sites. Their total output amounts more than 5 334 MW. Francis turbines are delivered with high-quality self-lubricating bearings as standard. These bearings have higher specifications than the original bronze bearings and are moreover environmentally – friendly. Vertical as well as horizontal types are available. Both types are used for operation within the range shown in the Q/H diagram. Runner up to 7 500 mm.

More than 44 Francis pump turbines were realized at CDK Blansko since 1904 with output more then 6 000 MW. The first deliveries of Francis pump turbines were made over 40 years ago. Turbine, pump and synchronous condenser operation in the direction of rotation of the turbine or the pump. The operation range is shown in the Q/H diagram. Runner diameter up to 7, 000 mm. Teh reversible Francis turbines produced by CKD Blansko For Dlouhé Stráne pumped storage hydro-power station are the largest unit power capacity turbines to have benn installed in europe. Each trubine generates 325 MW.

Since 1904, almost 500 Kaplan turbines have been made in ČKD Blansko. We supply Kaplan turbines in horizontal or vertical design, spiral case or open-flume, bulb, pit, S-type with fixed or adjustable runner blades and guide vanes.
