Education & Training

Cleaver-Brooks has a dedicated Training Department offering Web-Based Programs, Co-Sponsored Authorized Representative Regional Programs, Custom On-Site Programs at the customer’s facility, and programs held at the Cleaver-Brooks Boiler House and Product Development facility, located in Milwaukee, Wis. The objective of all these programs is to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, safety, and environmental sustainability. CEUs are attached to many of the courses.

Boiler Operator`s Training

This two-day training workshop is designed for maintenance, plant, stationary or mechanical engineers as well as maintenance personnel who are responsible for new or repair, and troubleshooting of boilers. However, anyone seeking a basic working knowledge of boiler room equipment, with select hands-on instruction will benefit from this class. This course provides a certificate approved by the CWEA (California Water Environment Association) and the AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering) and the hours can be applied towards the continuing education requirement for re-certification. This workshop will address the minimum state requirements for boiler operators and can be a part of their training to meet those requirements in order to comply with the law.

Cleaver-Brooks Boiler Systems Training

This training workshop is a two-day course that takes the recipient beyond what was covered in the Boiler Systems PLUS Seminar – Operations, Safety, Reliability and Efficiency. Using the information provided in that course as a base, it emphasizes boiler evolution and applications, control schemes, burner advances, energy conservation, emissions, system reliability and as always safety.
