CRUCIAL Inc. is a Louisiana Corporation which both manufactures and distributes oil spill containment and recovery equipment. CRUCIAL was founded in 1991 by Wallace (Wally) Landry as a full line supplier of oil spill abatement products. Landry is the former owner of Oil Mop, Inc., and has been in the pollution control field since 1978. CRUCIAL was formed as a marketing, manufacturing, and distributing entity to service the growing need for oil spill control equipment worldwide. CRUCIAL was sold in November 2022, to Mike and Beau Blake, who have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
