Dolnoslaska Fabryka Maszyn Elektrycznych DFME

Lower Silesian Electric Machines Company (Dolnoslaska Fabryka Maszyn Elektrycznych DFME) was established in June 2003, concluding a long-lasting process of ownership transformations of the state-owned DZWME `Dolmel`. Dolmel exported a part of its production to former Eastern Bloc countries as well as to other regions of the world. The company was also the main supplier of slow-speed high power generators to diesel power plants operating on the Greek isles.
