ECOHZ is a Norwegian-based company with offices in Oslo and Geneva. Our primary business is to offer Guarantees of Origin from renewable energy to electricity providers, businesses and organisations across Europe, with distribution partners in 12 European countries. In 2012 ECOHZ managed a renewable energy portfolio of almost 48 TWh, making the company one of Europe’s largest independent suppliers. ECOHZ’s portfolio includes guarantees of origin from more than 200 power plants, based on fixed supplier agreements with over 20 power producers. Many of the power producers are based in Norway, but during 2012 ECOHZ increased its offering of renewable electricity from power plants located in other European countries. The portfolio comprises renewable electricity generated from hydropower, wind power, biomass, solar power and geothermal sources. ECOHZ can offer renewable energy from environmentally certified power plants.
