EGing has emerged as one of the few leading vertically integrated solar PV companies. EGing plans to raise manufacturing capacity to 1.2GW by end of 2011 and targets to become one of the world’s leading vertically integrated solar PV company.EGing has established its own laboratory and photovoltaic R & D center, and brought in a strong research team headed by professionals with broad experience in the PV industry. EGing established joint solar PV cell research center with Shanghai Jiaotong University and Jiangsu University and put in place leading equipment and testing facilities. Among R&D facilities, there are Changzhou PV Engineering Center and Jiangsu Solar Energy and Materials Engineering Technology Research Center. Among that, the module laboratory is recognized by VDE with its TDAP certificate. So far, EGing has over 100 invention and innovation patents.
