Electrified Thermal Solutions, Inc. (ETS) is a company spun out of MIT that aims to decarbonize industrial heat. Their goal is to replace fossil fuel–based heating in industrial processes (which often require very high temperatures) with electric heating systems that are cleaner, quieter, and can be powered from renewable or “off-peak” electricity.
