Endeas Oy

Endeas designs, develops and manufactures innovative testing technologies for the photovoltaics industry. The first Quicksun simulators were developed and delivered to in-house clients in a national energy company in Finland. In 1995 the simulator was exhibited publicly and immediately a US company ordered one system. This success encouraged for further development and marketing and the system was regularly exhibited in the following PV conferences. By the year 2000 more than 10 QuickSun solar simulators had been delivered and the product started to establish itself in the global market. In the year 2001 Endeas Oy was founded and it acquired the QuickSun technology and patents. In the same year a proprietary optical device was developed for improving irradiance uniformity. With this option it was possible to construct a compact large area solar simulator with true Class A irradiance uniformity characteristics.
