etec was founded back in 1982 by the undersigned Torben Roenne (Rønne) who is still in charge of the company. I was born in Copenhagen / Denmark and my education led me through some of the greatest Danish audio companies with which we today still are having the best relationships. etec is short for `electronic technical engineering and construction` and that`s actually what we do. Custom designs and manufacturing of electronic circuits. We also sell `off the shelf` products which you will find on this site. I have more than 34 years of experience in constructing and manufacturing of low-noise amplifiers for audio and underwater acoustics. We are specialized in design and manufacturing of low-noise and front-end conditional amplifiers for picking up of extremely weak signals from various sensors like capacitive couplers, piezoelectric ceramics, inductive resonators and other low level transducers.
