Since 1968 FBM Hudson Italiana is one of the world’s acclaimed suppliers of Air Cooled Heat Exchanger for Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical, Chemical and Power. We provide Clients with a complete range of services starting from thermal and mechanical engineering, complete manufacturing, modularization, supervision at site, after-sales service and supply of spare parts. Air Cooled Heat Exchangers are typically used when plant location and ambient conditions do not allow an easy and economic use of other cooling systems.

The steam condensers are a more sophisticated version of the air cooled heat exchangers. They are used for steam condensation in process/ incinerator/ power plants and are usually supplied as a package including all necessary components like expansion joints, ejectors, tank, pumps, safety valves, etc.

FBM-Hudson Italiana has developed design and manufacturing know-how to prevent hydrogen and high temperature embrittlement and cracking of the base material and the disbonding of the stainless steel weld overlays which may occur in Shell &Tubes Exchangers built for Hydrocraking, Hydrosulphurisation, Residue Desulphurisation, and similar applications.

In 1998 FBM Hudson Italiana further increased the product competence by acquiring the technology of Babcock Entreprise S.A.of which became the successor.
