FlareTech - Retractable Pilot Systems for Flare Stacks

FlareTech Inc. offers advanced retractable pilot systems engineered to enhance the reliability and efficiency of flare stacks in various industrial applications. These pilot systems ensure continuous ignition of waste gases, significantly reducing downtime and maintenance costs for petroleum companies. FlareTech's pilots are made from robust 316 stainless steel, with options for 10’ or 15' lengths, and equipped with 310 stainless steel nozzles for ease of replacement. The design prioritizes thermal management by protecting monitoring and ignition systems from flare stack heat. Pilots operate on natural gas and can be adapted for propane use, consuming only 22 SCFH of natural gas or 7.5 SCFH of propane. The system's innovative retractable feature facilitates maintenance without plant shutdowns, enhancing production continuity. Equipped with a fail-safe monitoring and ignition system, these pilots ensure reliable operation, using a Type “K” thermocouple for flame monitoring and an auto-reignite feature. FlareTech also provides installation support and regular maintenance services to ensure optimal performance.

FlareTech - Electronic Spark Ignition System for Waste Gas Streams

Designed by FlareTech Inc., the Electronic Spark Ignition System (ESI) is tailored for emergency relief applications involving waste gas streams that are readily ignited. This system uses a continuous, intermittent arcing cycle, factory set for a 1-second arc every 10 seconds, to directly ignite waste gas streams. Intended for flaring when gas contains less than 1% sour content, the ESI features robust construction: the main body is made from 316 Stainless Steel, while the heat-affected zone uses 310 Stainless Steel for the probes. The precision-engineered ½” electrode probes, also from 316 Stainless Steel, are designed to prevent warping under heat. The center electrode pivots to avoid carbon build-up in the spark gap. It includes advanced proprietary high-heat insulators superior to traditional ceramic insulators. The ESI, adaptable to multiple voltages, integrates a redundancy unit that switches between solar and direct power sources, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
