The WHS-1500 wood boiler is great for installations where the WHS-2000 is a little too big for the install space. The boiler is designed for heating up to 7,500 sq ft and can easily be installed in an existing building or lean-to addition. The tank is rolled and is 8 ft long; the entire unit is just under 9 ft long. The 1500 is built with pride by American workers and has a minimum steel wall thickness of 3/16″ with 1/4″ heads. The large, Schedule 40, 4 inch diameter heat transfer tubes never plug and transfer heat efficiently to the water. The manway ring can be ordered with a fitting for use with a solar thermal drainback system, perfect for storing heat from the sun!

The 49.5 kW sequencer includes: Two (3) Sequencer boxes (270 amp, 240V, Single Phase). Two Banks of 3 Breakers (30 amp each Breaker), pre-wired to a bank of time-delay relays. Three banks of time-delay relays allows for hookup to a maximum of 9 electric elements at 5.5 kW each. Hi Limit Switch (factory set at 190°F – NOT adjustable). Qty (18 + Extras) Crimp connectors for #10 stranded wire – a pair of crimp connectors is required for each element. The required 10 AWG wire from sequencer box to the elements is NOT included and must be provided by others.

The isolation bushings are designed to prevent undirected current from reaching the GARN tank. Included in the kit; Five (5)  high-temperature Nylon isolators. 5 Type B Washers (3/8″ ID, 1″ OD Flat Washer).

Replacement Filters for the Bypass/Side Stream unit are sold in packs of three (3). 5 micron, Stainless Steel Core, Filters are spun polyester with a SS core. These filters are to be used with the “Bypass/Side Stream” unit (P-0108) as described in the “BYPASS/SIDE-STREAM FILTER INSTRUCTIONS” section of the GARN Owners Manual(s).
