Goliath Wind - Capella Wind Technology Aps

Established in 2008 in Tallinn, Estonia on the idea to develop a low cost, but efficient modular ring generator; based on core generator technology developed at Durham University and funded by Estonian Development Fund. The generator technology was refined and scaled with the technical help from TTU - Tallinn University of Technology and finally full scale demonstrated in a 3,5mw configuration. The `Competitive Everywhere` business model was developed and supported by new investors, and the Capella 3 turbine was developed, designed and certified in 2016 in a 3.2MW IEC Class II configuration with a 0109 rotor and upgraded to an 3.0 IEC Class IIIA with an 0120m rotor in 2018.
