The HBControls LPC-25DS is a phase-angle controlled solid state power controller designed for precision thermal management in resistive heating applications. It integrates a Crydom D2425 solid state relay and a microprocessor-based control circuit. This controller delivers variable power outputs from 0% to 100% based on the analog input, making it ideal for maintaining targeted temperature levels. It can handle up to 15 amps across 24Vac to 280Vac line voltages. The Crydom D2425's output circuit comprises back-to-back SCRs that withstand surges up to 250 amps, utilizing a direct bond copper substrate to minimize thermal fluctuations and extend device longevity beyond 7 million hours. The LPC-25DS accommodates several analog inputs, including popular ranges like 0-10Vdc and 4-20mA. Additionally, it can be operated with an external 24Vac power supply, with options for pre-assembly. This product is especially useful in harsh environments, offering effective and reliable phase-angle control.
