Hilber Solar

Franz Hilber, born in Tyrol, was heavily involved with solar technology as far back as 1991. As a self-employed facade and metal worker, he undertook the planning and installation of the first photovoltaic systems. Winning awards in Toronto and Rome strengthened his resolve to develop photovoltaic solutions. In 1997, as a planning and development consultant for photovoltaic systems, he began a successful collaboration with SOLON AG, based in Berlin, implementing numerous major projects in Germany. In 2003, Franz Hilber revolutionised the market by developing the `MOVER` a photovoltaic system was developed that follows the course of the sun, thus enabling constant energy generation over the whole day.
