More and more, INCBIO is requested to remain on during the detail engineering and construction phases of projects for which we have performed the process design. In this oversight role, any process change requests are routed through our engineers for approval or comment. This helps ensure that the client understands what the impact may be on the process as changes and alternatives are suggested.

INCBIO uses long-term or short-term licensed commercial process simulation software (CHEMCAD, Aspen, Hysis, Pro/II, Simsci) and/or in-house simulation programs to perform: Detailed mass and energy balances. Unit operation design/evaluation. Piping system hydraulics calculations. Relief and flare system design/evaluation. Heat exchanger design/evaluation.

Because IncBio understands that projects are constantly evolving, and that our clients prefer to have full flexibility when upgrading or adding to an existing plant, we specialize in designing and building modular solutions. These units can either be designed and installed on a standalone basis, with their own dedicated utilities and storage facilities, or as a bolt-on to an existing facility, sharing facilities and control as needed. However this philosophy does not apply only to upgrades or retrofits, our own turnkey plants can also be designed using a modular approach, therefore futureproofing your project.

When producing Biodiesel from waste products, we cannot always guarantee that the end product will meet the EN14214 specification using our standard equipment. This is not because of our process, it is simply a reality with some low quality feedstock. But this does not mean that the Biodiesel standard cannot be achieved. IncBio has partnered with a worldwide leader in the manufacture of short path wiped film evaporators, and as such we are now able to offer highly efficient and cost effective Biodiesel distillation columns, which are able to ensure that the Biodiesel produced will not only consistently meet the standards, but also exceed them, meaning that even as the standards get ever stricter, our Biodiesel plants are always able to adapt to the new requirements and be at the forefront of quality Biodiesel production.
