Industrial Heat Transfer, Inc. (IHT) is a designer and manufacturer of high quality commercial and industrial finned-tubed heat exchangers. Industrial Heat Transfer thrives on the toughest jobs! IHT has met a wide range of challenges with complete success through quality performance and attention to detail. Our facility boasts two 10,000 lb. bridge cranes with a 45 foot span each. Our shop is equipped with highly efficient, digitally operated metal forming equipment such as a press brake to 350 tons with CNC back gauging, a CNC turret press, shearing 1/4 x 10 feet, cut off saws, band types and punch presses from 50 to 100 tons. In addition IHT has 1.5 inch plasma cutting capabilities as well as Pines tube forming to 1.5 inches.

IHT has a long history of being the first to meet the changing needs of our customers' welding requirements. We can meet many specifications such as ASME Section VIII Div. I, MIL-STD-248 and MIL-C-19836. TIG (GTAW), Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (SMAW), MIG (GMAW) and pulsed MIG (GMAW-P) for very thin metals, .015 inch to 8 inches thick. We also match the metals to your specific needs. Whether it's common metal such as steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum or the more exotic alloys such as AL6XN, our skilled welding, brazing and soldering artisans are masters at the procedures that meet code reuqirments.

At the base of every IHT solution is a mechanically expanded continuous plate fin heat exchanger that is built to last. Whether it be ASME/PED MILSPEC or your spec, IHT means quality.
Each and every tube is expanded by pneumatically forcing a metal expanding ball down the length of the tube. This provides an expansion that is accurate and uniform across the entire tube ensuring a quality fin-tube bond and guaranteed high performance.
Continuous Plate Fins
IHT's continuous fin surface gives the highest performance, the lowest pressure drop and the most compact footprint of the different heat exchanger technologies. We can also offer exotic metals when your situation requires it. We have a number of proprietary fin technologies to give each application the best possible performance within the required operating conditions. You'll find many people to throw together a cheap, bulky low performing spiral wrapped tube bundle, but only IHT can give you the quality heat exchanger guaranteed to meet or exceed your performance requirements.
We offer a wide variety of cast headers in many different material options. Our removable castings allow for better cleanability by providing direct access to the tubes without having to cut and re-weld.
Just unbolt, clean, rebolt and you are done! Easy field cleaning means longer coil life and more efficient service.
