As a frequently-requested battery, Alkaline Pocket Plate Batteries have a huge range of applications such as: power stations, aircrafts, railways, etc. We produce three product lines of Pocket Plate Batteries: KPH Series cells for high rate, the KPL Series for low rate and the KPM Series for medium rate applications.

The sintered-plate nickel-cadmium battery is a mature development of the nickel-cadmium system, having up to 50% higher energy density than the pocket-type construction. The sintered plate is much thinner  than the pocket plate, and the cell has a much lower internal resistance providing superior high-rate and low-temperature performance and its performance is less sensitive than other battery systems to changes in discharge load and temperature.

The main characteristics of Interberg’s  XAG range NiCd Aircraft Batteries are : a big power density, combined with an outstanding energy density, which enables the battery to have a excellent good performance with high discharge currents under a extremely low internal resistance which does also contribute to a exceptionally long service life, thanks, also, to the proven high mechanical strength. Interberg SNF range Nickel-Iron cells can last well over 30 years in robust service if properly maintained, while Lead-Acid cells are lucky to last 15 years in light duty. Interberg SNF range Nickel-Iron cells are not affected by deep and frequent charge/discharge cycles unlike Lead-Acid batteries. Interberg SNF range Nickel-Iron cells wont sulphate if left in a discharged state, unlike Lead-Acid cells.
