Cable Testing Technology

Intereng - Portable DC Testing Device

This portable DC testing device supplies an output voltage of up to 25 kV DC. It is utilised to test cable insulation in accordance with the VDE 0276-620/621 standards and to determine the breakdown voltage of a fault.

Intereng - VLF Test Generators

The portable cable test set PGT 36 is used for testing medium voltage cables with extruded insulation (VPE, PE, EPR insulation) and nominal voltage up to 12/20kV in accordance with DIN VDE 0276/620 (CENELEC HD 620). The cable test set works according to the VLF test method. It uses a very low frequency voltage (VLF) of 0.1 Hz and max. 36 kV.

Intereng - Surge Generators

Surge generators of the PS-Line series are used for cable testing and fault location in low and medium voltage networks. With the PS - Line InterEng offers a series of surge generators wich are easy to operate. The surge voltage is continuously adjustable between `0` and the maximum voltage of the selected voltage level. The surge generators are available with different surge voltage levels.

InterFlex - Time Domain Reflectometer

The InterFlex 130 can be used by all utility companies to determine the location of cable faults in energy and control cables (underground cables and overhead lines).
