Inventure Renewables, Inc
Founded in 2006, Inventure Renewables identifies and solves problems, problems that others have a difficult time unraveling. Our primary mission is helping agri-business, oleo-chemical and biofuel companies find ways to turn waste products and by-products into value-added materials to increase overall profitability, and have pioneered many processes toward these ends. As a discovery company, we do not apply the same solution to every problem, as all problems are unique. Instead, we provide customized, cost-effective solutions - and frequently discover impressive hidden value for customers. Inventure clients include leaders in the agri-business and oleo-chemical industries.

About Us
Each year, millions of tons of agribusiness waste are sent to landfills or sold as low-cost animal feed. Tremendous value – in the form of biochemical and material building blocks present in that waste – is lost. Inventure Renewables develops process technologies for the rapid, low-cost, high yield extraction of these valuable materials, from oleochemicals to biodiesel, whether you process corn, soft oil seeds, cellulose or livestock. Our patented processes help you turn waste streams into green revenue streams.
Inventure Renewables pioneers process technologies for the rapid, low-cost, high yield extraction of natural biochemical & material building blocks from low-value/waste biomass to provide cost-effective, carbon neutral biofuels, biochemicals and biomaterials.
Inventure Facilities
Inventure Renewables is headquartered in a 43,000 square foot facility in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Our facility processing capabilities range from conceptual lab and bench scale reactor/separation units to scalable pilot systems with a fully equipped AOCS certified analytical lab.
Bench capabilities include multiple batch, CSTR, and continuous reactors with volumes ranging from 50 mL to 150 gallons and pressure/temperature ratings as high as 5,000 psig and 650 deg F. Bench separation units include a MYERS spinning disc molecular distillation, two BR Instruments spinning band distillation columns, glass wiped film evaporator and ion exchange/chromatography columns.
Pilot scale processing units include a one ton per day continuous plug flow reactor, 75 gallon PTFE lined reactor, 100 gallon glass lined reactor, and 150 gallon Inconel batch reactor with continuous capabilities, continuous packed bed reactors, continuous chromatography/ion exchange separations and continuous carbon adsorption beds. On-site distillation capabilities include a 2″ x 15′ packed distillation, 2″ x 15′ tray distillation, 4″ x 20′ packed distillation, falling film evaporator and a one stage forced recirculation flash evaporation system.
A comprehensive analytical lab staffed with AOCS approved chemists and equipped with ICP, auto-titrators, AAS, GCFID, GCMS, LCMS, HPLC, FT IR, KF, SDT, TGA, DSC, rancimat, flashpoint and viscometers.
