The pipes and accessories are used in a great many different applications : sheating for electric cables, protection ducts for fibre optic and copper cables, water distribution and other pressurised liquids (sometime also corrosive and/or polluted liquids) at temperatures up to 100° C, high pressure gas distribution, disposal of waste and last but not least pipes for drainage systems and energy recovery (E.G. geothermal energy). Kabelwerk Eupen regularly supplies public water distribution companies with pipes of between 20 and 355 mm in diameter. Indeed, many gas suppliers use HD-PE pipes manufactured by Kabelwerk Eupen for gas distribution, flame retardent PE pipes being the preferred choice for electrical installations.
