Kelvion - Compact Fin and Tube Coils

The wide range of product portfolio of coils with different tube diameters, tube patterns, fin profiles, materials and options allows us to customize our coils for any specific application and fluids: air heaters, air coolers, condensers and evaporators for HVAC and various industrial applications.

Transformer oil air coolers

Our range of transformer oil air coolers for forced oil cooling systems can be supplied in different mounting variants. The standard air cooler version is designed for direct mounting on the transformer tank. In addition, our range of products comprises free-standing transformer oil coolers designed to customer specifications. Transformer oil air coolers are available in different design versions.

Transformer oil pumps

Transformers with forced oil cooling systems require reliable, glandless transformer oil pumps. We offer a large range of such pumps, from which customers can choose a type that suits their specific requirements and ensures optimum operating conditions. Our oil circulation pumps are of simple, straightforward design and robust construction. Due to their compact size, the pumps can be easily integrated into the oil circuit. Four pump designs are available for different applications: Power Transformer Applications Inline and angle-type pumps with radial impellers and inline pumps with propeller-type impellers. Traction Transformer Applications Pumps with radial impellers for traction transformers in rail-mounted vehicles.

Exhaust gas heat exchanger

This new addition to our product line is a compact heat exchanger made from high-alloyed stainless steel and can handle temperatures up to 550°C. Its compact and modular design makes it extremely versatile and easy to service. Our exhaust gas heat exchanger is designed to recover heat from exhaust gas produced for example by combustion engines used in combined heat and power plants. The heat exchanger transfers the heat from the exhaust gas to a liquid (water or water-glycol solutions). When heated up, this liquid can be used in central heating systems; for preheating air in the combustion chambers of furnaces and turbines; to dry coal, pulp, wood and other materials as well as for generating electricity with a Rankine process.

Diffusion bonded heat exchanger

K°Bond is our new diffusion bonded heat exchanger and the right choice for applications where highest temperatures and pressures have to be processed on restricted space, like offshore applications and floating units. K°Bond, Kelvion’s diffusion bonded heat exchanger, is ideal for applications involving extreme process temperatures and pressures. Combining design with welding expertise, K°Bond withstands pressures up to 1,000 bar and temperatures from cryogenic -200 to 600 °C. Significant savings in weight and footprint compared to common heat exchanger solutions. K°Bond with its diffusion bonding technology is perhaps one of the most significant and game-changing solutions for projects with restricted space – May it be for offshore plants (e. g. as high pressure vaporizer) and reliquefaction on floating units.

Fully-welded plate heat exchangers

Our fully-welded plate heat exchangers make a convincing case due to their minimal size, outstanding thermal transfer coefficients and comparatively minimal investment costs. They are particularly robust and require only minimal cleaning and servicing. Their design advantages come into play especially in areas, in which, in addition to the output, load capacity is also a requirement.

Commercial air coolers

The Kelvion range of Commercial Air Coolers is designed for most refrigeration applications. In addition to predefined variants, there is the flexibility to include options and accessories to meet our customers’ demands. Their capacity and size are optimized to facilitate the stocking and competitive transportation of products directly, or via our distribution and wholesale channels. Commercial products are defined within the sales brochures, selection software and product configurator – all with specific price lists.

Closed circuit coolers

Closed circuit coolers are designed according to customers' requirements and assure exact compliance with their performance specifications. Our finned systems enhance heat exchange to the tube system and allow low material usage without performance loss. Tooling flexibility allows each system to be adjusted with its tube banks side by side or on top of each other, offers options of meeting extreme customer demands. Our many offical approvals and certifications allow us to design and manufacture closed circuit coolers for many and various applications.

Kelvion - Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers

If you attach great importance to flexible sizing and sophisticated technology, then the GBS plate heat exchangers are your choice. These brazed allrounders are ideally suited for applications of any size - pressure resistant up to 40 bar at -196°C up to +200°C. This brings quality, economic efficiency and excellent thermal performance to your operations.

Kelvion - Multiple Row Systems

The prime design for vacuum air-cooled condensers is based on MASH concept. Steam is brought to the condenser via a steam duct and a manifold. Steam flows down across 2 or 3 rows of finned tubes. Condensates are recovered inside bonnet header boxers connected to a hot water tank. Non-condensable go up through a deflegmation row for final condensation.
