The AGM Front Terminal LPF series from Leoch International is designed specifically for telecom applications, offering advanced AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology in valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. Engineered for longevity, these batteries are optimized for long life floating applications, such as Base Transceiver Stations, with a design lifespan of 12 years. The front terminal design facilitates ease of installation and maintenance in telecom cabinets, suitable for both 19-inch and 23-inch sizes. Safety features include shielded terminal caps and a unique anti-explosion one-way vent valve, reducing the risk of short circuits and water loss. The batteries use thick plates with a specialized paste to ensure extended service life, and come encased in an ABS case for enhanced durability. Although the batteries conform to applicable EC directives, they do not require CE marking under the Battery Directive 2006/66/EC.

Leoch's High Temperature LHT series batteries are specifically engineered for demanding telecom applications, particularly in high-temperature environments. These AGM Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries are designed to operate efficiently at a reference temperature of 35°C, ten degrees higher than conventional VRLA batteries, thereby extending their operational life. The durability of the LHT series outperforms conventional alternatives, reducing both capital and operational expenditures by offering an extended life design. The batteries incorporate a unique one-way vent valve to minimize water loss and enhance safety, while the premium ABS+PC materials used for the jar and covers provide flame retardancy to UL94-V0 standards. The series features both front and top terminal designs and offers an extended warranty, enhancing reliability and user confidence. Although they do not bear the CE mark due to specific regulatory requirements for lead-acid batteries, they conform to all relevant EC directives.
