Leoch - Model LHT Series -High Temperature Batteries
Leoch's High Temperature LHT series batteries are specifically engineered for demanding telecom applications, particularly in high-temperature environments. These AGM Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries are designed to operate efficiently at a reference temperature of 35°C, ten degrees higher than conventional VRLA batteries, thereby extending their operational life. The durability of the LHT series outperforms conventional alternatives, reducing both capital and operational expenditures by offering an extended life design. The batteries incorporate a unique one-way vent valve to minimize water loss and enhance safety, while the premium ABS+PC materials used for the jar and covers provide flame retardancy to UL94-V0 standards. The series features both front and top terminal designs and offers an extended warranty, enhancing reliability and user confidence. Although they do not bear the CE mark due to specific regulatory requirements for lead-acid batteries, they conform to all relevant EC directives.
Leoch High Temperature batteries, LHT series, are AGM Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid batteries that have been optimized for high temperature telecom applications. LHT batteries reduce CAPEX & OPEX for the end-user, offer a long life design at 35oC where conventional AGM batteries last half of the life duration of LHT batteries, a front and top terminal design and extended warranty under high temperatures that offer “peace of mind” during usage.
CE Marking Statement
Leoch batteries do not bear the CE mark. The “CE” mark indicates the conformity of a product with an EC Directive applicable to that product and is a declaration that the product conforms to all EC regulations and provisions, and that the appropriate conformity assessment procedures have been completed. Batteries are covered by a different directive (Battery Directive 2006/66/EC) and as such the CE mark is not required on any Leoch lead acid battery. Leoch batteries do conform with all the relevant EC directives and regulations and as such are marked with the appropriate symbols but not bear CE marking which is inappropriate to be marked on lead-acid batteries.
