Mahindra Powerol is a division of the Mahindra Group`s Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, having ventured into the power generation domain in 2001-02. The company has seen significant growth, surpassing the 1000 Crore mark in a little over a decade. They manufacture engines that power Diesel Generator sets ranging from 5 kVA to 625 kVA. These gensets are favored by major telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Indus Towers, Bharti Infratel, and many others both in India and globally. Mahindra Powerol was awarded the Deming Prize in 2014, a global quality accolade from the Union of Japanese Scientists & Engineers, recognizing successful Total Quality Management implementation. The company has also earned several awards including Frost & Sullivan`s `Voice of Customer` award for being the most preferred Genset brand among Indian telecom companies.
