We are a renewable energy company based in the West Midlands that promotes and develops biomass heating systems and fuel supplies. The company was established in June 2003 as a response to the growing need for energy services in the biomass energy sector. Mercia Energy Ltd is a commercial company that is committed to sustainable development principles and endeavors to achieve environmental and social objectives. MEL is solely owned by the founder directors Andrew Russell and Peter Young, with over 40 years’ combined experience in wood-fuel development and research.
