Combined Cycle Power Plant - Energy

In 1984, a combined cycle power plant incorporating the latest turbine technology, supplied by Takasago Machinery Works to Tohoku Electric Power Co.`s Higashi Niigata Power Station, was first put into commercial operation. In terms of thermal efficiency, this accomplishment was epoch-making for the period. The plant saved far greater energy than possible with conventional steam power plants. In July, 1999, a new combined cycle power plant with over 50% thermal efficiency for Tohoku Electric Power Co.`s Higashi Niigata Power Station was completed and confirmed their satisfactory operations. We are proud of a number of accomplishments we have made as the only Japanese manufacturer that perform all the activities from engineering, civil work and construction to commissioning and after-sales servicing with the technologies developed by ourselves.
